Win-Win (version 2)
2002
Negotiation skills course, staff of the British Art Show 6, verbal interactions, ink on paper.

Commissioned by British Art Show 6

A second version of the work Win-Win, which was first realised at the Kunstverein Munich in 2002.

In this new version, which was commissioned for the British Art Show 6, the staff of the British Art Show 6 were trained in negotiation skills by a specialist trainer (whose expertise is in training for non-profit organisations.) The exhibition staff were then asked to create a record of any negotiations they had regarding the production of the show in which they specifically used their new skills.

The forms on the wall create a mapping of the impact of the work showing how it intervened in and altered the the rest of show, including the selection and placement of other artists work, and the marketing, installation and media relationships wof the exhibition.

Negotiation skills training course provided by Directory for Social Change.
